বৃক্ষ মেলা হলো একটি আয়োজন যেখানে বিভিন্ন ধরনের গাছপালা, চারাগাছ, ফলদ, বনজ, ওষুধি এবং ফুল গাছ প্রদর্শন ও বিক্রি করা হয়। এই মেলার মূল উদ্দেশ্য হলো গাছ লাগাতে মানুষকে উৎসাহিত করা, পরিবেশ সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করা এবং “পরিকল্পিত বনায়ন করি, সবুজ বাংলাদেশ গড়ি” -এর মতো স্লোগান বাস্তবায়িত করা। সাধারণত এই মেলায় হাজারো প্রজাতির গাছের সমাহার থাকে, যা থেকে দর্শনার্থীরা তাদের পছন্দ অনুযায়ী গাছ কিনতে পারেন।

বনভোজন বা চড়ুইভাতি বলতে আনন্দ-উৎসব সহযোগে বনে বা বাড়ীর বাইরে খাবার দাওয়াত করাকে বুঝায়। সাধারণত মনোরম ও সুন্দর জায়গাতেই বনভোজনের জন্য বাছা হয়। যেমন ময়দান বা উদ্যান, হ্রদ বা নদীর কিনারের মতো চিত্তাকর্ষক জাগাতেই প্রাধান্য দেয়া হয়। এছাড়াও, ঐতিহাসিক জায়গাও বনভোজনের জন্য বেছে নেয়া হয়।
